The directors of the critically hailed indie, Now Forager, are back with a slow-burn Texas thriller about a mysterious woman who hitchhikes to Austin to meet her half-sister by way of their late country musician father. While the family music legacy brought this stranger to town, she won’t leave without taking revenge against the people who stole her daddy away years ago. The film features stand-out performances from both lead actresses, and makes excellent use of the Austin music scene with live, ‘in-scene’ performances of traditional and original songs.
